People say when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Well life gave me a grove of sour, infected lemon trees, where the lemons had rot which were purple in colour. You ask why? Because life didn't like me, neither did my parents. I guess that's why they abandoned me when I was 3 months old. I was put in "The Sunshine Orphanage - Where You Will Always Have A Family". That was partly true, because everyone there was nice to me, but I didn't like them at all. I had created this sort of hatred towards others, insecurity because Hey, my own parents didn't like me. Who else would?
Our manager, Mr. Vipin Varma finally had enough money to put me in a  local school where I started studying from Grade 3. By then, the other kids in my class had already learnt the alphabets, numbers and the multiplication table. So I was already lagging behind. And at school, I always got bullied for getting the lowest marks in every subject and for failing in every one of them. I thought learning in school would give me an answer as to why my parents wouldn't want me. But then where's the fun for God in that? The sun probably shined in this world. But in mine, I've never seen it, because IT NEVER CAME UP.....

Few months went by and on a Sunday morning a group of people came to our orphanage and told our manager that they could provide tuition for us and for free. Our manager figured that it was the right decision and we were made to go get coaching classes from them. They were called "Bhumi" which meant ground. I asked one of those volunteers there, "We couldn't afford for tuition because we didn't have money. How come you are able to offer us tuition for free?" Well, he smiled and told me, "The outer world helps us." That was completely mean of the outer world. I asked, "If they didn't want to adopt us then why would they want to help us? How do they help us? " Then he explained about myShare Loyalty Services to me. He said, "People in the outer world use myShare cards each time they shop and in the amount they pay, a small percentage comes to us and we use that to help you. Without them, we wouldn't be able to help you. So indirectly, your parents ARE looking out for you. The world is full of people who want to help you, you just have to learn to take it."
 I was awed.
 My parents actually helped me.
 The world helped me.
 myShare helped me.

So, under the tuition of the well educated members of Bhumi organisation, I was able to cope up with the other kids in school. I stopped failing. Life was good. Thanks to myShare and you all I was able to score well. Thanks to myShare and you all I am a better student in school and in life. Thank You!

People say the world is an oyster. Well, they did forget to mention that it is full of opinions, hatred, views, doubts and what not? Take it from me, most people are two faced. What's worse is when you find that out; when you want help but you find yourself standing all alone; when you're going shopping by yourself; when you get no phone calls anymore. I understand that. People will always try to push you down. They try to brain wash you; turn you into something you're not. I face that. When you try something new, you will get a lot of criticism from the world; they'll reject it. It happens. People judge you by the way you hog down a samosa or when you ask for money; by the way you dress or by how close you are to a guy.

Don't change yourself for them. Don't bring yourself to their low standards. You are better than that. Don't look for having a lot of friends when even a couple of them won't have your back. Quality, not quantity. People are always gonna judge, even if you're God. So why give any crap about them? Whenever I get to know people talk about me I tell myself, "Intelligent people ignore". You decide if you're intelligent or not. Don't think you don't have anyone for you. There is always someone. And hey, if you don't really find any.... you always have me :)  Most of all, always be yourself. No matter how crazy, weird and stupid you are. Be you....... but be the best version of you. From today onward do the one thing no one can ever do a better job at - BEING YOURSELF.

Be yourself, because everyone else is taken :) :) :) :)

I don't know if anyone will take a risk with life like you do..............I'm talking about your rash driving :P
I still remember how people in my class used to ask me if you always wore jeans and tees. You were such a cooleo mom then. :P
I always found it amusing that you could adapt to the time zones of different people in our family and STILL manage to stay healthy - now I know that that's complete bull and that your brain is facing the effects of inertia :P
I don't think any advanced technology in a million years can manage to do and process what you do in (let alone one day), one hour. Your brain is that fast.
I don't know whether to feel angry or proud when people say you look like my sister. You don't look THAT young okay? :P But you're seriously so pretty.
I think you're more flexible than a rubber band - You can talk 3 different languages with 5 different accents all in 2 mins. :O
You're one of the very few women who wore Saree in US in style :O I truly admire your dressing sense, though your taste is okay okay only :P
Eating in unknown people's marriages; bunking college to go to movies; stitching your own dress - you were quite the naughty one weren't you?  (Sorry to have leaked out your secrets)   But here I am, lectured by you as to why I should not go out in the night. *Sighs*
Amma, you trust me so much, and every time I even try to eat a chocolate without you knowing, I feel extremely guilty.
I don't think anyone knows me better than you, you know when I'm lying and when I tell you the truth.
I really admire your regularity mom. Everyday without fail, you manage to do Yoga; wake me up for tuition; screaming at me at least once :P ; listening to my day yada yada yada

Amma, I know I'm not the world's greatest daughter but in my world, you're the GREATEST MOM!!.
I'll try my best to not let you down amma because you mean the world to me ( It's true) :P
I love you with all my heart and soul

Friends.
Friends are people who give you memories to cherish. Friends are people who will push you down and laugh at you for that. Friends are people with whom you can have the silliest fights and deepest conversations. Friends are people who will make a fool out of themselves just to see a smile on your friends...... Friends. I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for my handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy.

Friendship... Its not something you learn in school. Books will not teach you anything about it. You cannot pass exams by cheating. Friendship is one mind in two bodies.

You don't need to be grateful to your friend ONLY on Friendship Day. You don't need put up a long status about them ONLY on their birthday. Today's a good day as any other.

I thank you, for picking me up, when I thought everything was lost.
I thank you, for walking into my life, when everyone walked out of it.
I thank you, for putting up with all my crazy and random talks.
I thank you, for making me take care of myself even during my worst times.
I thank you, for showing me and telling me that life is more than just studies, it has more awesome things like you.
I thank you,  for always being around, for showing your love and support to me, every minute of my life
I thank you, for being my friend.
Till death do us apart, dear friend.

What is the need of the hour today? Not knowing if Shakira's child is a boy or a girl; Not knowing if the "Katthi" movie is getting released or not. What is the NEED of the hour today? Well, let me do you the honors of giving you the answer to this question.  Tomorrow is Diwali. To those who don't know what Diwali is, Diwali also called "Festival of Lights" , a festival which signifies the victory of light over darkness; good over evil; knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. It is celebrated by bursting crackers, wearing new clothes and by making sweets.

*Sarcastically*
Sure, nothing wrong with that is there? Nothing wrong with the fact that 1.22 billion people burst crackers all in one day which contribute to 30 % of the total global warming in a year in the  whole world. Nothing wrong with the fact that 40% of lung cancers in India is caused by the air pollution which originally is formed because of the bursting of these crackers. Nothing wrong with the fact that tons and tons of crackers are bought, and crores and crores of money is spent, just to see a bijli make some noise; a rocket spread colorful lights in the sky; a flower pot sparkle to a great height. Nothing wrong that is it?

Before bursting a cracker, think once, "Is it really worth it? Spending so much money and polluting the environment just to see a smile on your face? Is it really THAT worth it?". Think ladies and gentlemen, THINK. I bet if every soul which wanted to burst crackers thought of this, about half of them would've put their rockets and their flower pots down.

Its never too late. Let this one be the beginning of a "Green Diwali" to you. Put that rocket down, water a plant. Spread the message. Have a happy, safe and most importantly "Green Diwali" everyone. Light your life, not your crackers. :) :)

Unlike most others, we curly haired people, have to face a lot more obstacles than one can imagine:

Every morning, my curls and my comb go into war where my curls refuse to give in until the comb breaks and my comb would fight until its dying breath.

In my school, we students are forced to braid our hair for school. But what the school management refuses to understand is the fact that, "The beauty and sheer essence of my hair is in my curls." And its practically impossible to still have curls in your hair after you've braided it for 10 yrs. So what do I end up with? "Frizzy wavy hair".

Oh, criticism for us is like the "Buy 1 Get 1 Free Offer", we get it even if we like it or not. People are like, "Why don't you try oiling your hair?". Well, even if there is 2 liters of oil on my hair, it would still be frizzy. (Probably did exaggerate on this fact a bit)

We have reached a point in life where we've stopped caring about people calling us "Dora" or "Noodles" or whatever. We have more important things to care about, like our curls <3

Seriously, curly hair is nothing like what they show you in the shampoo advertisements. Its messy, very unruly, dirty and disgusting - kinda like me.

Take it from me, if you have straight hair, KEEP IT. Honestly, I hate it when straight hair people look at my hair and go like, "OMG curly hair!! Its so cute! I totally want them. You're such a lucky girl!!" I'm like, "Honey, You gotta be careful what you wish for. You have NO IDEA what I have to go through everyday."

No, straightening, smoothening, ironing or doing whatever damage you can to your hair, DOES NOT HELP. So, don't even bother trying them out, waste of money. ( I speak with experience)

We don't actually have "Bad Hair Days". Everyday is a Bad Hair Day, and sometimes our hair decides to make our lives more miserable.

"No Conditioner is NOT an option for us." Thank God for them because without conditioners, my hair is as good as coconut fiber - Rough and Useless.

Dear curly haired girls, " DO NOT EVER GO TO THE BEACH WITH YOUR HAIR LOSE. 5 mins later, you'll wish you were never born."

I wouldn't say curly hair has always been a disadvantage for me. If you have frizzy curly hair, or if you live in India, you would understand if I say that the curls can increase your height. ( The curls bounce up that high, that it adds to your actual height. )

Though I may talk like I probably hate my hair and I might occasionally say, "I don't mind trading all my gold and money for beautiful hair" you and I very well know I wouldn't let a fly touch my hair. (I'm serious)

I might complain like a whiny old arse about curly hair, but I take immense pride when I say, "Hey, I've got something you'll never get. I got curly hair. I'm different; I'm Unique; I'm ME"

My dog. My dog is nothing like a dog. He is not like yours. He is strikingly handsome. He is not a baby. He is 3 years 5 months and 7 days old. He doesn't like running around. He prefers sleeping. He doesn't love food; doesn't crave for them. You gotta feed him. He fusses so much that I feel I'm raising a cat. He doesn't like fetch. He wants to play 'Whoever takes the ball from my mouth is gonna get bit by my mouth'. He prefers girl dogs over boy ones. I find them all cute. He is so adamant. When he calls you, you HAVE to go. Else, he'll make a scene. He'll eat chocolate over bones any day. He has an attention span at the size of  a new born paramecium.  He hates lectures. I mean, who doesn't. The words 'sit', 'stay' or 'no' have zero meaning to him. He has smelly breath. He bites his toothbrush. Occasionally stamps his own pee. He washes his hands. He loves face washes. Not to forget the leaves and ants, most favorite meal for him. The mud- his best friend. Digs it, poops 20 meters away from it. Makes creepy weird noises you didn't know any living being could make. And oh, he can fart real bad sometimes. He loves ice cream, air conditioners and sneezing on your face. He can step on your foot real hard  which he does everyday. But I love him. Yes, more than chocolates. He is MY dog. He is Rolf Edwin Hari. He is nothing like yours. <3 <3 <3
