"No mummy, I want the white one. The black one is too ugly!" "I want the other one, this one is too big." I listened to these words, over and over again today. I volunteered for an Adoption Marathon at Blue Cross India. We basically gave away all tiny puppies in the shelter for free for adoption. Less than 60 people turned up and half of them were frankly too scared to get the dog. I really don't understand by what they mean by "ugly" dogs. I don't understand how that matters. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw people were racists over there. Those dogs were nothing short than cute, they were all so pretty. They called it dirty, horrible and scary. I was very angry because they don't understand that dogs have feelings too. Its not the dog's fault that its mom left it abandoned on the street for crows to eat. Its not the dog's fault it lost a leg. Its not the dog's fault that it has some sort of disease. but who takes the blame at the end of the day? The dog. :( But on the good side, we had amazingly generous people who wanted to adopt more than one dog. They adopted this brother and sister because they didn't wanna separate them. Plus there was this very cute, tiny pup which they also adopted. All the volunteers gave a huge round of applause for those men because not only did they save one life, they just saved three. And so many people gushed in and adopted so many puppies and dogs. Out of 60 people almost 45 of them adopted and that is an amazing result. I was personally so excited for the dogs' lives as it just made a huge life altering turn. Through this post, I'm talking for Blue Cross and  for the animals there. They are a lovely bunch. Please if you are interested in having pets at home, don't go to the pet store and get one. Please adopt. These are the ones that need you the most and they will be more faithful, loving and caring than any store dog will ever be. Please let me know if you are interested. I'll make all possible arrangements to help you adopt any pet - dog, cats,  puppies, rabbits, kittens, squirrels, or anything. Its their world too, Help us to Help them :) :) :)

Viva La Vida - Coldplay
This song has turned from being one about a king to one of my most favorite songs ever. This song is from the album Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends which was released on 2008. This album being the fourth one released by the English band Coldplay turned out to be a great hit and so was this song. It talks about a King who lost all his kingdom and the posh life that he led. The way it is described in the song brings out his sorrow in a very humorous way. The tune having a very beautiful composition and the lyrics very easy to understand, Coldplay set a new standard and established a new much reputed name for themselves. It is one of my favorite songs because it has a very good beat and feel to it. And I personally happen to love the lyrics. Its one of those songs which talks about sorrow, but a different kind of sorrow and its very refreshing to listen to such kinda songs.  People who don't know this song yet, please  listen to it using the link below and comment about it below. Those who already have, gimme suggestions about what other songs you want me to write about next. It is my first attempt of writing about a song but I hope to be writing more. Live. Laugh. Love ;) ;)

What is it with these English songs? Its very annoying and irritating to listen to them if you see from my point of view. But before I explain it, I would like to comment that I love them and I'm an ardent listener. Coming back to my point, can't artists really write about something else? I've been listening for over 5 years and I know more than 500 songs. Next time you listen to an English song, stop for a minute and listen to the lyrics. Its either you broke my heart, or I don't like you, or I love you but you don't love me back, you're so pretty, I cheated on you ...... How many songs have you heard in English that talk about anything else other than love or anything relating to it? Like have you heard a song which talks about their daily life? Or anything which gives good value? I'm not saying love is not a good value.... it is important for life..... but is that all they care about? Or do artists find it easy to write about love? I know there are English songs which are based on something else other than this but aren't love songs Overrated? I know a lot of us go "Awww" at the lyrics, but we are not like that always. I'm sure everyone of us have faced a time when we feel the lyrics of a song match your situation... But it happens once in 10 times. But to give credit to them, their music is amazing. The tune the beat the voice everything. That's why the lyrics doesn't matter, hell even my view doesn't matter, and that's why I listen to it and I still will. :')
