Viva La Vida - Coldplay
This song has turned from being one about a king to one of my most favorite songs ever. This song is from the album Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends which was released on 2008. This album being the fourth one released by the English band Coldplay turned out to be a great hit and so was this song. It talks about a King who lost all his kingdom and the posh life that he led. The way it is described in the song brings out his sorrow in a very humorous way. The tune having a very beautiful composition and the lyrics very easy to understand, Coldplay set a new standard and established a new much reputed name for themselves. It is one of my favorite songs because it has a very good beat and feel to it. And I personally happen to love the lyrics. Its one of those songs which talks about sorrow, but a different kind of sorrow and its very refreshing to listen to such kinda songs.
